Thirty-six hopefuls turned out in August and by school time, a well rounded squad was formed. Led by Kenny Smith, Bob Bryant, and Fred Owens, who made the Southwestern All-Conference team, the Indians amassed a total of 226 points as com- pared to 114 for the opposition. The Lorain County champs finished in undisputed second place in the Cleveland-Southwestern Conference. The highlight of the l950-51 season was the 62-7 rout of Vermilion which saw sophomore Bob Bryant race for five touchdowns. The prospects for next season seem bright, for only four senior lettermen were lost. XV ith good support from the reserves, the Indians should top the Cleveland-Southwestern League. l40l Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Oberlin Orville F L, Vermilion Fairview Amherst Rocky River Wellingttmn Clearview Medina Lorain, St. Mary's ACTION SHOTS l.
