Ewen the custodians have 1 share in school ad- ministration because besides their manifold duties in keeping our building in good shape they often help superx 1se the conduct of students w hen out side activities irc going on in the cxening You may see the pictures of these three loy al workers on page 78 BERI IN HIGH SCHOOI h is seen many changes this ycar in thc teaching staff in the offices and in the physicil education department Miss Norma Hammond who had 1 wonderful gift for knowing each student s taste for books has left our library after about fifteen years The English department suH'ered a double loss with the depar ture of both M1 Muntz and Miss Prettyman Mr Fairchild deserted his sltde rule last summer for the Naxy but returned to us this year at the be grnnmg of the second semester We hope he s glad to be back again in his math classes With the leaving of old teachers comes the at rival of new Miss May our new librarian hails from Ashtabula where she was city librarian for nine years Mr Shaw has taken over Mr Muntzs classes 1n the English department Both Miss May and Mr Shaw have done a splendid lob of stepping into the empty places Mr Shaw came just before the six weeks grades were due and he straightened everything out.
