Modelled after the Yeomen oi the Guard, personal escorts to the King, Obie is here to escort you, the reader, through the pages of the 1951 Hi-O-Hi. The purpose of a yearbook is to tell the story ol the year at the college. So rather than a formal catalog oi names, you will iind an emphasis on the story behind the year. Our introductory feature section has tried to give a rounded view of this by eight opinions, taken from all types ot the college group, and selected for their di- versity. The rest of the Hi-O-Hi is devoted to telling in informal picture style the story of 1950-1951 at Oberlin College.
