World peace, a Thanksgiving vacation, and iinances were some of the many subjects that were discussed by Student Council President Roger Brucker, and President Stevenson. The work of the Student Council involves every- thing from forming policies on matters such as these, to approving appointments such as that of Dick Caves as editor of the Review. Admin- istering all elections, approving changes in the charters of organizations, and appointing the heads of such organizations as the Forum Board, CRD, and the Honor Court, are other routine jobs of the Student Council. The Student Council reviews the budget of all the organizations on campus and determines

This year the Student Council loaned KOCN, under a. two year agreement, all the money that was necessary to put it on the air. The Mock UN, which was a direct outgrowth of the Council-sponsored Four-College Confer- ence, and the letter sent to Washington asking that all other means possible be investigated be- fore going to war, were other achievements of the Student Council.
