This group works with a statistical expert in polling students on a variety of sub- jects, local, state, national, and international. The results of the polls are published in the Review. The commission also includes a student-faculty committee, a summer jobs committee, and a recreation committee. . RIGHT: Dr. A. Powell Davies in an afternoon discussion dur- ing the second session of the Religious Conference. The con- ference was held in three ses- sions this year with Dean Liston Pope opening the series, and Dean lhfilliam Faulkner deliver- ing the closing address. One of the committees operating jointly with a YYV group, the Religious Conference Committee, sponsors this annual activity, planned jointly by College and Theolog.

T The YYV's year begins even before the school year with a Y Rep Retreat early in the fall. After getting acquainted at the Retreat, the Y reps planned out a membership drive attract- ing 500 girls this year. In its activities the YW' tried to combine action with be- lief. Like the YM, -the wo- menis program is divided into commissions in the areas of community service, campus life, public affairs, religious emphasis, and publicity.
