Evlwnrzl Boswortl Illargueritc Woodwor Illnry Van llletre DEAN BUSWUHTH Dean Bosworth's career speaks for his diversified abilities: he grad- uated from the Oberlin school of Theology, acted as pastor of two churches, was Physical Director of the Detroit YMCA, was con- nected with the Grain Exchange in Minneapolis, and became Dean of college men in 1927. He is an ardent sports enthusiast and enjoys ofliciating at track meets and intramural activities. Always con- cerned with civic affairs, he was a former President of the Oberlin Exchange Club. DEAN WUUDWUHTH Miss Woodwor'th holds the oldest dean of women's position in the country, since Oberlin pioneered in admitting Women. She has had a wide range of experience, having studied at Syracuse University, Where she was Associate Dea11 of Women, the Sorbonne, and St. l'lugh's at Oxford. This year she has distinguished herself by deliv- ering addresses at Pembroke College and at the Atlantic City meeting of the National Association of Deans of Women, as Well as by direct- ing a special reading course on Russian and French Novelists of the 19th century. DEAN VAN IVIETHE lllrs. Van Metre had experience in the administration of a children's hospital a11d in editing a magazine in Los Angeles, so it is small wonder that she has been able to fulfill her duties so capably. She acts as advisor to Conservatory Women and assigns room and board jobs for all women 011 campus. Loved for her deep understanding of people and sense of humor, she is respected for her good judgment, fairness, and efficiency.
