Remember Bible Conference? -fi The group discussions were very heavy The loss of a fellow Oak- woodite, Alphonso Reed, made many of us stop and think. A feeling of sadness over- shadowed the campsite, but our hearts were uplifted with the hope of being reunited at the Advent of our Savior. 27

A El? N9 The third annual Collegiate Bible Confer- ence of the Southern Union convened at Camp Alamisco, the campsite of the Ala- bama Mississippi Conference. Camp Ala- misco is miles away from the nearest town. The smell of pine and the chirping of the birds adds to the beauty of the campsite. Coming from O.C. and S.M.C., approxi- mately 200 students were in attendance. One could readily see that there were those who came seeking a one-to-one relationship with the Savior. Group discussions, joint fellow- ship and physical recreation were all a part of the three day conference. The climax for the conference came Sabbath evening when the students gathered around a candlelit table and partook of the Lord's Supper. As the students stood hand in hand the words of Side by Side were sung. Meet me in Heaven we'll join hands together . . . This was the utmost desire of those who attended the conference. Pray that we all will be there! I 4 I I NJA? .. 21 2352 Mission Accomplished The 1972 Ingathering Campaign was kicked off with a rally held in Ashby Auditorium on the evening of November 15. The students were divided into different conferences in order to reach the goal of S5,000. The next morning about 300 students in- vaded the Huntsville area to accomplish the mission that was be- fore them. By mid-afternoon the goal was just about reached and after all the reports were finally turned in, the student body had reached their portion of the goal.
