Initiations for student associations are always loads of fun, not only for those being initiated and veteran members, but for all observers also. This year the initiation, for the Omega Sigma Psi Club called for braids, black dresses, black pants, black shirts, a rock on a string hanging around the neck, and tennis shoes worn on the wrong feet. The young men of Edwards Hall were awakened around 6:00 a.m. on an Autumn morning to the sounds of Omega Sigma Psi, Omega Sigma Psi, . . . . . . . . . . These words were constantly re- peated over and over again by the students who were pledging for the club. In order to become a member of the club one must pass through two days of hilarious acts. Their faithfulness to their cause will be rewarded. 18
