THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION The Alumni Association of Oakwood College is striving to fill its obligations to the institution that has equipped her and sent her forth as a representative to display its efficiency in the world. Every alum- nus of this institution is in reality a tape measure by which the insti- tution is measured. As a tree is known by the fruit it bears, so a col- lege is rated by the graduates it produces. The reputation of Oakwood will rise or wane by the support that is given it by its alumni. It is the privilege of everyone who has passed through the cor- ridors of Oakwood to share her glories as well as her responsibilities, for anyone who shares her glories most bears her responsibilities best. Oakwood exists for her alumnig her alumni should exist for the high moral standard and lofty christian principles set forth in this institution. Let us as loyal alumni rise to the cause of our Alma Mater. Let us do all we can whenever we can, wherever we are, to promote the Spirit of Oakwood. Let us not be exiguous in our support, let us be prodigious in our sacrifices, and we shall make Oakwood a bigger, better, and more efficient house of civilization, where the mental, phy- sical, and spiritual powers of men shall be moulded into a perfect whole. E. E. ROGERS, President of Alumni Association.

As a parting. thought. per- mit me to wish for each of you a profitable and successful ca- reer as you work for the uplifting of humanity. Sincerely yours. Murray I. Harvey x
