At right is Kerry Simpson and Debbie Bott who were chosen as the Best Dressed Couple. Each received a six pack of Mountain Dew. Below, is the honorable Reverend Shaffer giving one of his outstanding marriage ceremonies. For a small fee, couples could be wed and receive a wedding ring and marriage certificate, which expired at 10:00 p.m.

 Picture 1, the Lil' Abner and Daisy Mae class repre sentatives, were voted upon by their classes. Standing at left. Junior representatives; Cuff Kinney and Kathy Duncan. Top, the Sophomore candidates; Cathy Dra per and Greg Hadden. At right, are the Senior repre sentatives; Mark Mullins and Gloria Wickham. In front is Randy Mitchell and Pam Keller; the Freshmen candi dates Each class was to collect money during Sadie Hawkins Week, and at the dance all money was turned in. The winners of the Lil Abner and Daisy Mae contest, were those whose class collected the most money. Picture 2. captures the smiles of Lil’ Abner and Daisy Mae; the Freshmen candidates, Randy Mitchell and Pam Keller. Randy received a hillbilly hat and T-shirt and Pam received a scarf and T-shirt. Congratulations to Randy, Pam and the Freshmen class! Above are the Comettes who make it all possible. Sadie Hawkins 78 The dance was held on Friday, March 31, from 7:00 — 10:00 p.m. Caramel corn and orange punch were being served as refreshments, while ‘Sundance'' provided the music. Stuffed animals, tube socks, T-shirt and a gift certificate were given away as door prizes. Thanks to every one who made Sadie Hawkins '78 the best yet. especially Mrs. N Anderson and Mr Nixon!! At left is Karen Duncan and Bill Dalbey who participated the most in the week long Sadie Hawkins activities and were therefore chosen as the Most Suppor tive persons of Sadie Hawkins Week. They received a stuffed animal for their efforts. Below, is the faithful Sister Steffen performing one of her distinguished mar riage rituals. Both Sister Steffen and Reverend Shaffer had busy nights.
