At the first meeting this year, the National Honor Society elected the 1967, ’68 officers. They are: John Champion, Pres.; Terry Goodner, Vice-pres.; Diane Belt, Sec.; Pat Monson, Treas. On April 3rd, the National Honor Society furnished lunch at the Junior Career Day. During the day the members acted as hosts and monitors. In April, new officers were elected for the following year. They are: Greg McClure, Pres.; Ray Kanzleiter, Vice-pres.; Terry Czajkowski, Sec.; Carla Thompson, Treas. A banquet was held for the new members followed by presentation of new members and installation of new officers. 13

Lela Kaye Hafner Blaise John Brazas D.A.R. S.A.R. This year the Governor Bradford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented the good citizenship award to Lela Kaye Hafner. The Sons of the American Revolution presented the good citizenship award to Blaise John Brazas. Lela and Blaise were elected by the senior class and the OTHS faculty on the following qualities: Dependability-Truthfulness-Punctuality—Service-Co-operation-Helpfulness—Responsibility-Leadership—Personality—Self-Control-Initiative-Patriotism-Unselfish loyalty to American ideals. Lela and Blaise both have been active in National Honor Society and Student Council. Lela was secretary of the Student Council. Besides other activities both were officers of the Senior class. Lela received a grant to attend the University of Illinois. Blaise will attend Missouri University. u
