SENIOR POEM Tom Fleher is quite a good guy; When athletes get hurt, he stands by. Margaret Hays loves to knit; She's very good, we must admit. Bob Beauvois is speedy and thin; In a red and white car you’ll find him. Marsha Miller is really keen; She is our '63 Homecoming queen. Wayne Brown is a comical guy; Talk to him and you'll see why. Nancy Swan with bright red hair; Forrest and her make quite a pair. Larry Crawford is great when selling candy; With this he will always be handy. Wilma Claypool, tall and thin A nicer friend has never been. Charles Cushwa in FFA Is busy and quiet in every way. Mary Jane Cole has the cutest dimples; They even beat Shirley Temple's. George Cunningham is small and short, But still he is a good sport. A hungry lass is Bunchie Miller; The biggest meal won’t even fill her. Mike Davis is a basketball star; We think that he's sure to go far. Gloria Thompson is tiny and sweet Her charming smile you just can't beat. George Decker is ambitious and fleet, We hope on cross country he can't be beat. Carolyn Clark, quite a lass, Likes the President of our class. When Mike Divan plays football he's really great, And as a friend we’d say he's first rate. Gae Van Allen, the friendly kind, Is very helpful you will find. Don Gritten came to OTHS this year And has lost all his shyness and fear. Tonda Brinegar, trim and sweet, All the kids mink she's neat. Carl Hafner has a job as clerk His duties he will never shirk. A studious lad is Lowell Hall Who for a lass just doesn't fall. Brenda Cox is smart but cute, For her there is no substitute. Dark and handsome is Larry Hays Spends on FFA a lot of days. Mary Samuels dreams of far away places, She longs to meet many new faces. Tom Goodwine with bright red hair Is usually sitting on a two legged chair. A real cute kid is Marilee Hill We'll all agree, she's quite a pill. Wade Martin who is from Batestown, On weekends you’ll find him running around. Martha Block, shy and quiet Many of us could profit by it. Ken Burruss stands with avaulting pole The State meet is his goal. Steve Barnes from our class Often walks with a Sophomore lass. Judy Bloomfield, a real nice blond, Of everyone she is fond. Don Gary always plucking a string, Can really make the dancers swing. Lauren Sisson, a talkative girl, Jocko thinks she's quite a pearl. Tim Peters at a horn is great A music instructor could be his fate. Joe Miller, a member of the band, Will always offer a helping hand. We wish he had been here for the other three years. Larry Sperry, light and fair With our money he takes good care. Nancy Miller will go far She's hitched her wagon to a star. At playing basketball, Larry West Tries very hard to be the best. Barbara Richards, with her car Is always wishing to go far. Carl Young has very curly hair With him no other can compare. Virginia Duke is quite an artist; She's the best by the farthest. Working at Eisners, Raymond Hadley Pursues his job very gladly. Mollie Clatterbuck is short and sweet At bowling she's hard to beat. Dale Hasler is the quiet kind A better guy you'll never find. Carole Sturtevant is our GAA leader We all agree, it's hard to beat her. Wayne Crawford studies hard and long You'll find that he is seldom wrong. Sue Livingston is the talkative sort We all know she's a good sport. Jerry Snider is amazingly tall You'll find him sprinting down the hall. Vickie Gaydos can always be found Where there is plenty of fun around. Sam Johnson, at scholastics is one of the best And as an athlete he's up with the rest. A pretty girl is Laurie Wynn She's always dressed neat as a pin. Denny King plays a cool guitar And in several plays has been a star. Penny Saunders is a friendly girl She always keeps Donnie in a whirl. Melvin Langford, so tall and thin Has a lot of vigor and vim. Colleen Flannery has bright red hair Sue and Kay make quite a pair. Ah, Eddie McClure, too bad you're leaving For all the girls hearts are all a-bleeding. Glenda Hays is really shy But for her there's just one guy. Tom La Valle dances so sprightly He does so well, he must do it nightly. Glenn Melton is blond and gay And is always the same, day after day. Bob Miller is often seen with Starr A terrific cut up, a great guy by far. Donna Moulton is a real clown You'll always know when she's around. Don Morman is there with Penny Ask for baskets, he'll give you many. Fred Schafer, with a ready wit As Oak news editor does quite a bit When you see Kay H, don't call her Charlotte If you do, her face will turn scarlet. Lee Wright works with his sheep No doubt it can cause loss of sleep. June Norwell is true blue She has always got a smile for you. Richard Wilson, who can write a good theme Is often behind many a scheme. Norma Boyd is a lass so fair; A girl like her is very rare. There's no other boy like Denny Hess; In school he can get in many a mess. Asa cheerleader, Sue Oakwood is great; No one can beat her, for she's first rate.
