SENIOR POEM Always busy as can be, That's the class of 63. Ardith Embree, her favorite is Bill; In class she really is a pill. Dave Slade, you can bet; Is always driving Ray's Corvette. Always talking is Judy Sloan, Whether in class or on the phone. Charles J. Oakwood, better known as C. J., Is feeling his oats all through the day. Deanna Hendricks' favorite color is black Since Johnnie got his new Pontiac. Frank Schafer, everyone's beau; He's our gas station Romeo. Janice Neff, little but cute; For her there is no substitute. Bill Sharpf is most athletic, And in class quite energetic. Dona Jenkins, our Homecoming Queen; She's lots of fun, and we think she's keen. Joe McGlaughlin is not very nosey, But at certain times his cheeks are rosy. Flo Anne Fuller is might slow, But when Ralph comes home she'll go, go, go. Steve Meade, when not in a wreck, Is always catching heck. Connie Sharp, the talkative type; But she's lots of fun, we never gripe. Dick Martoglio, his hair black as night, Is quite a guy in spite of his height. Georgia Lewis is hard to beat, When at the table ready to eat. Dale Miller, a friend of all, Was a captain in football. Linda Gutterridge, not very tall; We all think she's a ball. Ray Stringfield is quite a cat; We all know he's a Democrat. Linda Davis is a lot of fun; When she's around, work doesn't get done. Gary Trimmell, dark and tall, Can always be found in the freshman hall. Linda Downing likes to run around; You always see her south of town. Daryl Smith hates to study, But about basketball he's real nutty. Sharon Flannery lives in the Heights; At school she sticks up for her rights. Gary Divan is not very tall, But in a fight he'll never fall. Marie Hawkins is really gone, Especially when she's with John. Mike Thompson never takes a beating, Except when he gets a ticket for speeding. Carolyn Buck is always around; She's a girl with both feet on the ground. Charles Mercer is tall but not stout; The Pine Room is his favorite hangout. Glenda Tellier pays attention in class; She never gives the teachers sass. San Wynn lives on Kickapoo road; When work is handed out, he takes his load. Erma Hawkins lives on a farm; She's a girl with a lot of charm. 12

SENIOR POEM Kent Young never has much to say, But he will be a success some day. Sue Wheeler, we all know; Would never cut anyone low. Carl Wheeler, not too tall; Can always be found in the hall. Helen Hazelbaker, nickname Lou, Always has a smile for you. Tom Sturtevant, tall and thin; You never see him without a grin. Sharon Block, quiet and shy; Picks Mike B. for her guy. A real nice guy is Leonard Claypool; We are sure that he isn’t a fool. Charlene Redenbaugh can always be found, In the kitchen messing around. Clyde Corzine, better known as Hoax, Is always telling funny jokes. Mary Stuebe is very quiet; A lot of us could profit by it. Steve Arnold in his sports car will fly, But around school he's rather shy. Mary Jo Swan works hard for our band; We think she deserves a real big hand. Roy Durbin is a real sharp guy; That's how he managed to catch Nancy's eye. Nancy Grimm, quite a lass, Is secretary of our class. Jr. Dolbee in his Corvette, Will go down the road like a jet. Joyce Ingram, a lot of fun; Always has her work well done. Sharon Conley, the quiet type; From her we never hear a gripe. All around sportsman, Marvin Duden, Is especially good when it comes to shootin'. LoisHeadlee, the quiet type, Tries her best to do what is right. Mike Mattis is quiet and shy, And he is a mighty smart guy. Judy Sanders, President of G.A.A., Is quite energetic every day. Leonard Hathaway likes to brag, Especially how his Plymouth will drag. Charlene DeRay, timid and sweet, Always looks very neat. Ron Presswood is quite a star; In dancing and track he can really go far. Carol Smith, the studious kind, Is very helpful you will find. Phil Lee, he's all right; He's got a Chevy of red and white. Pat Tanner, a friendly blonde, Of whom we all are very fond. Larry Gutterridge's reasons are often sound, At an argument he usually can be found. Dana McVey, She's in band; And with her cornet is really grand. Quiet at school is Rick Pankow, As far as we know he is never slow. Dona, Deanna, and Flo Anne have been on the run, Trying to get this poem done. 14
