CLASS POEM Dorothy Lane is liked so well, She is known as our Southern Belle. Larry Knight full of fire, Has his car patched with wire. Janie Swengel is very cute, She has brains and Don to boot. Sue Abbott likes a convertible of blue, Especially if Butch comes with it, too. Ronnie Bensyl, a Fithian guy, Watches girls and gives them the eye. In basketball we sure won't knock, Our varsity player named Bob Block. Paul Calvert is never bored, When driving in his little gray Ford. John Canaday is rather shy, But deep inside he's a real nice guy. Quite an athlete is Minnie Pearl, In sports she is a top-notch girl. Carol Snyder with eyes of blue, Says she loves Elvis, true. John Casteel he's real grand, Plays clarinet in the band. Sharon Tanner a shapely girl, Really has Bud in a whirl. A girl whom you never catch frowning, Goes by the name of Helen Downing. Mike Ellis is in love with his two, One's his guitar and the other is Sue. A guy full of pranks is Bob Greer, There's never a dull moment when he is near. Jerry Harper, a real nice chap, Picks for his girl, Judy Knapp. Judy Goodwin talks a mile a minute, If there's a talking contest, I'm sure she'll win it. Donna Jeffers a lively miss, All the boys she likes to kiss. Danny Jinkins it's plain to see, Has given his heart to the AdP. Sharon Jones who is so sweet, Another like her you'll never meet. 12

CLASS POEM Sally Lanham, our majorette, Will soon be Mrs. that's a bet! Barbara Neff chants and chimes, That she's the one for Larry Grimes Tom Fletcher, a handsome guy, Makes all the girls look and sigh. Betsy Johnson is in a trance, I wonder if it is over Lance. Judy V. B. with many men, Will never worry about dates again. Dick Denhart though not so tall, Can really shoot that basketball. Pat Miller so full of charm, Picks her boy from near Ridgefarm. Larry Dunn who is so sweet, Knocks the girls off their feet. Kay Barnes with hair so red, Knocks all the fellows dead. Andy Slade, oh, so tall, Looks like he's having a ball. Judy Abernathy, her title, Miss, Shall soon be changed to Mrs. Smith. Larry Taylor, alias Beatnik II, Drives a Buick of Aqua blue. Richard Lane, he's really not shy, Never dates 'em twice, I wonder why? Linda Richter, she has an Olds, I wonder how many boys it holds. Phyllis Headlee, who is nothing but sweet, By Tony Wise was swept off her feet! A varsity cheerleader, is Janet Terry, A very cute girl and oh so merry. Virlane Youmans, our Homecoming Queen, With a boy can always be seen. Lance Girton can never agree, Except when with his girl Betsy. Jerry Hobick with eyes so blue, Likes his car and pretty girls, too. Sharon Walker came as a Junior, But we all wish she'd come here sooner. 14
