enior Class History In the fall of 54 , the class of 58 entered with 80 members. The jump from grade school to high school was a big one, but patient and helpful class advisors did their best to put us on the right road. The main events of the year were Initiation Day, Class Party, and a return party for the sophomores. Charlotte Fourez was elected to be our Homecoming attendant. Kay Schonians and I im Ingram represented the class as king and queen candidates for the school carnival. Our Sophomore year began with initiating the new Greenies. Bonnie Fuller was chosen to attend Miss Victory. Two years had passed and we entered our Junior year. We elected Shirley Vinson to be our Homecoming attendant. Our first class play, Mr. Co-ed was a huge success, as were our magazine sales. The Junior - Senior Prom highlighted the year. Judy Oakwood and Lorin Kinney represented us in the speech contest. Judy was named to the All-State Cast. Finally, with three active years behind us, we entered our Senior year. All four years, we have been well represented in sports. Our lettermen include: Bob Denhart, Frank Estock, Bob Bolton, Bob Richter, Steve Cannon, .Terry Miller, Roger Koontz, Rodney Wonderlin, and Mel- vin Melton. We were proud to see one of our candidates, Kay Schonians, crowned Miss Victory of 1958. Other candidates were Beverly Kent, Shirley Vinson, and Charlotte Fourez. Kay Schonians served OTHS as cheerleader all four years. Shirley Vinson was elected to the Varsity her Senior year. Now, all the members of the class of 58 are looking forward to the Junior - Senior Prom, and the Senior trip, which will culminate our activities here at OTHS. Then, last but not least, is that evening in May, when the class of 58 will bid OTHS good-by, and step out into the future as alumni.
