Seniors Drop Anchor At last the Seniors have reached their port—graduation. As they lay anchor they leave behind them all the good times which occur on the high seas of education. Many times the sailing has been rough but 52 of the starting 71 have reached the long awaited harbor safely. The Senior Class members have been active in all school activities, including sports, dramatics and music. All through their high school career they have performed the usual duties required of students. One of the outstanding events of the year was the Senior Class play, “You Can’t Take it With You,” under the direction of Mr. Ennis. This play was a heart-warming comedy which proved that having money wasn’t the only important thing in life. The Seniors are planning on taking a trip but at the time of this writing (April 25, 1952) they had not arrived at a definite conclusion. Here’s wishing that there is good sailing ahead for each member of the Class “52.” SENIOR OFFICERS JOAN RENFER Charm School 1, 2; Dramatics 1, 2, 3, 4; Student Council 2, 3; Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Boys’ Glee Club, pianist 3; Mixed Chorus 3; Music Contest 1, 2, 3, 4; Oak News Staff 4; Service Club 3; Annual Staff 3; Custer’s Last Stand 3; Class President 4.
