During four years of Toil and sfress forTy- four members fell by The wayside, buT This year Two new members, KaTheryn Schnorr and Nina Murphy, came To us from ofher schools. During our firsT Three years we parTicipaTed in The usual rouTine of school acTivi- Ties. The major evenTs were The Junior-Senior banqueT and The Junior play. Our lasT year was a very busy one. A varieTy show replaced The carnival on The evening of November 6. A baslcefball game wiTh Hume was enioyed cluring The firsT parT of The evening wiTh a dance closing The fesTiviTies. On December I8, we enTerTained The Juniors aT a ChrisTmas parTy. The ChrisT- mas spiriT prevailed during The enTire evening. The gifTs were spread under a gayly decoraTed Tree and There was a real SanTa Claus To clisTribuTe Them. The class served Two dinners and sponsored a dance for The benefiT of The Acorn. The money realized by The sale of candy aT The noon hour and aT The games helped, Too, in no small measure To finance This volume. SENIOR CLASS PROP!-IECY Once a propheT walked Through The halls of Oakwood High School. His clair- voyanT powers asTounded all of us. He gazed wisely abouT and ,as he did so, he saw a door open before him. When he enTered The room 'iT was evidenT To him ThaT a Senior Class meeTing was in session. He seaTed himself quieTly and a vision of The fuTure came To him.
