Now many of us are nof as happy af fhe fhoughf of leaving, as we expecfed fo be. We shall miss all of fhe familiar faces and places when fhey are far removed from us. This leffer mighf have been humorous, buf l can nof ioke on fhis subjecf. Maybe we haven'f had secref handclasps, and brofherhood and sisferhood orders of enduring friendship, perhaps we haven'f seemed fo be one for all and all for one, buf in acfion every one of us has done his besf for fhe class. We have moved, acfed, and spoken as a greaf unif. Lasf year, in fhe face of cerfain failure, we were defermined fo give fhe senior class a farewell. Unifed, we pushed our issue and finally, againsf overwhelming odds, we won our poinf. This has been fhe case all fhrough our school life. One of us or a group of us has had difficulfy in acquiring a cerfain goal, buf when fhe enfire class ioins hands and pulls for fhe same side fhere has been no sfopping us. In our senior year we have fried fo serve as a paffern fo ofher classes by backing up 'rhe feams. feachers, and all school acfivifies. Many of us are going fo college, and some are nof. We shall all meef new friends and guife a few of us will move fo ofher cifies. Affer' foday if may be years before some of us, who are used fo speaking fo each ofher every day, will even see each ofher again. Time will have made us forgef abouf our fellow-classmafes, buf fhe acguainfances may be quickly renewed. All fhrough our lives we shall meef people whom we knew in high school.
