Oakville's Gold DusT Twins , so named by The SouTh CounTy Journal, com- bined for The majoriTy of The Ti- ger's offense. Bob Gallahar and Tim BarTon boTh had ouTsTanaing seasons, raved Coach Tom HeiT- man. BarTon and Gallahar boTh racked in All-Conference honors, while Tim Braden coralled honor- able menTion. l'Tim Braden also conTribuTed greaTly, scoring and on The boards. DespiTe noT having a True Big Man, The Tigers pulled down Their share of boards. Brad Johnson, The main glass-waxer This year, was a pleasanT surprise for HeiT- man. Johnson improved greaTly and developed inTo a good ball- player. The Tigers had a 12 win and 42 loss record overall, and a 7 win 5 loss league record, good for Third place. The season did have iTs share of Thrills and surprises. Up- seTTing highly ranked WebsTer and beaTing archrival lvlehlville rank high on The lisT of achieve- menTs. lvlr. HeiTman believes Turnovers resulTed in a saTisfying season, The LACK of Turnovers. The facT ThaT This group had very few Turnovers helped make iT a successful sea- son.
