The Team drove To Black River for a Three day reTreaT. ln addi- Tion To regular pracTice sessions They floaTed The river and had mediTaTion sessions. Wild isn'T The word for our mediTaTion ses- sions. They were more like bi- zarrel said Bill Berberich abouT The Trip To Black River. This Trip helped in preparing for The long, hard season. IT was a hard season for The Ti- gers. The Team was plagued wiTh injuries, Don Lingner reinjured his knee, Phil Hagemann was knocked senseless several Times, and Tom Allen broke his hand while proTecTing The goal. ThaT isn'T including everyone else's bumps and bruises acauired dur- ing The grueling season. AlThough They had some rough Times, They did have a few brighT momenTs.
