olfers Master The Green The golf team at Oakville is not one of the better known teams, but it is certainly one of our most victorious teams. Even though golf is knovm as an individual sport, it does take more than one person to win a match. Team effort was the main rea- son we won our matches. Our wins didn't rely on stnctly one person to do all the work, ex- claimed Bret Jansen. This year's team had its fair share of talented and exper- ienced players. We have a good, young team this year, and it looks like we'll do even better next year, speculated Curt Wi- chem and Brett Donner. Each ? Kellams, N. Cimo, K. Knopf, R. The excitement was ignited with an exquisite buffet-style dinner, preceding an array of scrump- tious pies and cakes. Accompa- nying the meal, the Bob liuban Brass Band perfom1ed melodies ranging from the 50's to Janet Jackson songs. As couples boo- gied the night away, Michelle Mantler concluded, UWith the ex- citement in the air, everyone made it a really special night!
