SENIDR CLASS HISTDRY After ll years of school, we at last earned the title of Mighty Seniors. We began with 8 boys and 5 girls. We lost Pat Sloppy and Lois Shaw and gained Richard Ewing and Matthew Paul. The officers elected to serve us were: President, Sonja Moe, Vice-President, Jim Andersen, Secretary, Kathy lnmon, and Treasurer, Lanny Blechschmidt. Student Council Representatives were Gina Warnes and Richard Ewing. The first activity sponsored by the Seniors was the Senior Mixer. ln November the student body held a magazine drive in which the Seniors took top honors. The Junior Prom was held in December. Kathy lnmon and Bruce Wolf were Queen and King. Also in December was the Christmas program in which the Seniors participated actively. ln February the basketball team went to the district tournament with 4 Seniors playing. ln March the Seniors challenged the Faculty to a basketball game which ended in a faculty triumph. We presented our Senior Play, Girl Shy , May l, T959 We have not heard a single complaint The Seniors were honored with a .lunior-Senior Dinner May l3. May TS, we took off on our Senior trip, to a destination even unknown to us. Baccalaureflfe was held the evening of May 24, our speaker for the evening was Rev. Cum- mings of Elma. May 28, marks our High School Commencement. We are sadly leaving our teachers and many friends we have made through the years. Now we are standing at the threshold of life.
