C 'CP' K c Mr. Berg, Mr. Ames, Mr. Gibson, and Nr. Mitchell Transportation The four men pictured above are responsible for the transportation of a total of 156 children to and from school. Through mud and snow, rain and sleet, these four men, Gust Berg, Pete Ames, Harry Gibson, end Bud litchell, make their rounds twice a day, five days a week, thirty-six weeks a yenr. Gust and Bud each take forty minutes to make their pickups on the Gibson Creek and Reservation runs re- spectively, Harry Gibson makes his, Gedarville, in an hour, and Pete Ames, with the longest run, Gerrard Creek, drives for an hour and thirty-five minutes. Gust and Mud don't stop with taking school children to school--they carry a school teacner apiece on their buses. Mesdames Carlson and Wolf, both grede teachers, avail them- selves of this convenience every morning to get to their desks, and every evening to get beck to the peace and quiet of their homes. At midyear, Mr. Mitchell took the place or barley Meyers as fulltime maintenance man and driver, when Mr. Meyers was forced to resign because of ill health, Later, Mr. Gibson resigned in order to devote all his time to his local business. He was replaced by Ed Damitio.
