TI-I Football This year's team, although it did not have the success of some of our teams of former years, did fairly well. With a little more luck we would have had a very good record. At the beginning of the year we had five re- turning football playersg Lawrence Cuninpham, Robert Beckwith, Percy Youckton, Dale Klatush, and Robert Mitchell. In our first game we lost a close decision to Napavine by the score of 6-O. We defeated Adna twice by the scores of LO-19 and 26-12. We were defeated by both Rochester, and Tenino. In the last game of the season, which was also the most thrilling, we tied Rochester, 19-19. During the season we initiated five new letter- men. They were George Holman, Howard Bono, Ruben Bono, Joe Menish, and Oscar Wollen. From this year's team we are losing Beckwith, Youckton, Cuningham, Holman, and LeClaire. The team will also be without the services of the two Bono brothers who returned to Mississippi.
