Ie have been challenged by those who have gone before us. As we work to meet this challenge we are simultaneously laying out the challenge to those who will follow. Therefore our progress will be measured by two sets of standards, from those who look back, and from those who come after us. We, as individuals, are privileged to make the choice which will take us in one of two directions. We can better the mark set by those who have gone before us, and keenly challenge those who have gone before us, and keenly challenge those who followg or we can fall short of our goal and so fail our predecessor and our successor. Those who have gone before us and given us our heritage, our challenge, have been true to us. As we acknowledge our one hundredth year as a state we can see the rich land that has been our inheritance, the culture that we enjoy, the society in which we live. Now we must take our turn. To perpetuate is not enough. We must not only perpetuate our way of life, but we must challenge those who follow. Sincerely Ward S , Principal
