Oakridge High School Oakridge, Oregon May 25, l957 Dear Mrs . Harms ln the year that you have been away from Oakridge High School, not rnany changes have taken place. The seniors are still happily anticipating graduation, even though a little reluctant to leave high school and be on their own, another iunior class is facing up to the cold hard fact that they have but one year to complete what for some of them will be their entire for- mal education, the sophomores are proudly preparing themselves for the share of school leadership which will be theirs in their junior year, and the freshmen are settled, saying, lt wasn't so bad, and looking forward to the time they will be sophomores . Your influence is still strong. Students who were in your classes in pre- vious years are using the knowledge you helped them to acquire. As they use it they remember the gracious lady who was their friend. For this and countless other reasons, Mrs. Viva Harms, with respect, with love, and with fondest memories, this annual is dedicated to you, for nearly fifteen years the wise, patient, sympathetic friend to every student in Oak- ridge High.
