Dear Seniors: Thank you for allowing me to write in your annual. May I remind you that you ar e not completing your education come gradua- tion; you are only beginning to learn, for the span of our lives is a short period of time in which we continually learn. Think now where you would like to be twenty years hence; begin to work and study to achieve that goal; let nothing interfere with your aim in life. Remember to always be considerate of the other person--be a kind, loyal, and true friend. Pattern your life by the Golden Rule and place your trust in Him who rules not only our lives but the entire universe. Then let come what may, you will be anchored to that which is everlasting and eternal. I offer my congratulations and best wishes to each of you. Very sincerely yours, (UJtt Robert E. Senior ' s Of 1968

Page 13 text:

Dear Seniors: May, 1968, will always have a special place in your life, and I am very proud that I had a little part of this memorable occasion. One of the Senior Boys let me read something that says much better than I what I would like to share with you in this message: Losers spend their lives thinking about what they ' re going to do Winners, on the other hand, are not afraid to savor the present, to unpack their books and listen to the birds sing. Losers say but and if only. Winners are enlightened people who grow rich, healthy, happy, strong, wise and brave using just three words in life: Yes, No, and Wow ! Wow ! is just to express the healthy childlike wonder in all of us. --Life Sincerely, •ffuJ Aj $ 5 2 Hub Dotson
