Junie T. was yelling Blush, blush, Oh, my gosh! when Frankie picked up her purse. Why June'?'?'? James Huntley wastes an entire hour by reading a funny paper without even crack- ing a smile. Jim A. substitutes for Clest as yell leader, much to our amusement. -Yesterday Doris McC. grew a year older. For milk bottles-cheap-see R. C. Calla- way. Answer to physics problem 8- Confidentially I don't know anything about this-Result 57 for honesty. -Did Tom get his piece of candy from the Senior girl '? '? '? -Report cards. FEBRUARY -Leroy M. has an escort of five eighth grade girls. -Boys are awarded their sweaters. One .lunior boy receives a letter. Game with Castleton postponed because of illness of Castleton's first five. Play Alumni in- stead and come through-Oak 32-Alum- ni 28. -If you want to find Mary J. look for Norma NV. and vice versa. They are al- ways together. -Tom's STILL looking for his piece of candy. Jeepers creepers! Are the eighth grade girls really in love'??? -Did the Juniors get an answer to their lette1 ?'??'?? -Even calling back their reserves didn't enable the Alumni to defeat the Varsity in the scheduled game tonight. They were defeated with a score of: Oak 27-Alum- ni 26. -Dorothy S. Doesn't know her own strength -she breaks Q71 the window stick. If the Juniors sell 'Cokes' who's going to drive and take the ice to McCordsville'? Ask Jim Huntley how to take curves- and he takes Safety!!! Who has Cloyd's typing paper?? Page flvenfy-two 12- Did that extra lipstick Harriet wore when she took her drivers test make an impres- ion on the policeman who gave the test? Play McCordsville-lose by one point. Play VVhitestown-win 27-23. Everyone's spitting things in the waste- basket-Question: Why? Answer: Mc- Laughlin! -Cloyd likes to tip back on chairs but he always goes to the extreme and ends up on the floor. Information: One way streets have one end while two way streets have two ends. 22-Piano bench is minus its legs. Allen M. and Harold A. can supply particulars. Is Harold still crawling or has he learned to walk'?? 23-A vote of appreciation goes to the basket- ball boys for they played an inspired game tonight-defeating Lawrence by doubling the score. Three Cheers!!! 24-Defeat Castleton in the last game before the Sectionals-Castleton 24-Oaklandon 37. -Powdered sugar marks the spot where someone ate one of those doughnuts! -Mr. Craig lost his insulator and did he jump??? Ask the physics class. Who was the boy friend Harriett left Eng- lish to see????? -Leap Year Day l-Look out boys!! MARCH -Mrs. McDaniel turns pro on making bas- ketball nets. Oaklandon defeated by War- ren 35-28. -Clestiabelle wonders how she will ever learn her play part-nineteen You said a mouthfuls . 5-Ask Ruth what happened to her yeast. The Commercial Class gave a 'tlittle small, one act play for the P. T. A. -Clest and Grace turn murderers-they kill their yeast. -One ball team-lots of ice cream-Mrs. Stoner makes good her if you beat Law- rence promise. -Everybody ate and everybody talked and everybody had fun at the banquet given the basketball boys by their mothers. -Achievement Contest at Butler. Harriett lost! Was it a man or was she waiting for her diploma? Donkey Basketall game tonight! Tense expectancy! ! Donkey basketball game over! Craig can't think! We go to press.
