Hong Kong Harbor David Einstein and Pete Smokler 43 Oakland students had the opportunity to spend the fall semester in the Orient. They visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Taipei, Manila, Hawaii, and spent the majority of their time in Hong Kong. Meditation sessions in o Buddhist Monastery were difficult for some. Some members of the group were arrested for throwing stones across the border into Red China- neither this nor fear of hidden bombs put a damper on the trip.
