Ae Sgnior FACES WORLD Our days at Technical have come to an end, yet the end is only the beginning for us, a time at which we seek to find our place in a world blazing with the fires of war. We are, in a sense, more fortunate than most, for we will be given the chance to show our loyalty and gratitude to our country for the profitable days that we have found together. In the years to come we rnust work with an unwavering de- termination to do our part in securing final vic- tory for our democratic principles. We must be guided, not by selfish desires, but by the knowledge that our bit may be a deciding fac- tor in the final outcome. Z' WITH CUURAGE We must also consider the tact that after the war we will be the ones called upon to rebuild our demolished civilization. These three years at Technical have taught us the principles of democracy: honesty, tolerance, and ambition which we can put to use in the future work which is carved out for us. ln realizing that this is just the beginning of a great restoration, let us keep those basic principles uppermost, so that, in times to come, We may stand on a foun- dation of utmost stability, the result of the strength and perseverance of our farseeing generation.
