LUUKINB TUWARD SUCCESS WE FIRE THE GRQDUHTING SENIORS! For three full years, our lives have been woven together in an intricate pattern of school life. We have been an indivisible group, bound together by common Work, common success, and common failure. Plnd we have worked together for the common good of all. But now, with sudden reality, we find ourselves at the end of this time . . . the end of our high school life. No longer are we a class, facing the trials of school together, but we are individuals, facing - life. Pllthough we realize that the problems of life may not be similar to those of school, we believe, by straight thinking and sound logic, we can meet them. What of the future? We do not know. We are a cross section of Plmerican youth. Hmong us will be the statesmen, doctors, lawyers, nurses, craftsmen, and laborers of tomorrow. We do not know if we Will all be great, but We believe we can be successful. Whether We are statesmen or day laborers, we can live Worth-while lives, which is, after all, true success. We are aware that our high school education is merely the starting point of our lives. Technical is but the foundation on which we are to build. Here we have learned to care more for ideals than material wealth, as well as distinguish between what is genuine and imitation. But we realize ideals alone cannot give us success. We must support them with consistent hard work and strengthen them with faith in our fellowmen and God.
