We, the High Senior Class who for three years have been an indivisible group, working together and playing together, have now come to the end of that time. From now on, we shall be indi- viduals who must meet the challenges of life. We realize that the road ahead of us is not an easy one, that the conditions of the world we are stepping into are perplexing. We do not expect to make drastic changes in international conditions, but we know that our lives well lived, must somehow be felt. SEHIUHS With this in mind, we, this graduating class of Iune, 1939, do pledge ourselves to strive to live our lives unselfishly, to do our utmost, not for personal ends, but for the good of our commun- ity. Whatever circumstances we find, whatever problems we have to face, we will try to meet them intelligently, hoping that our parents, our school, and the community will feel we have kept this pledge in the same generous spirit that this gift of our education has been given to us.
