We have to admit that once way baclc in January, 1933, we were sophomores, and the elevator, the swimming pool and the rooms numbered in their original way were one grand mixup. But, according to our way of thinlcing, we were the best bunch of sophs to enter the portals of this school and, as seniors, we feel the same way as we pass from this realm into a new life. ln raduating we leave behind us many things which we have llcnown and enjoyed. Although we may say that it is a grand and glorious feeling to be rid ol it all, still we lcnow that there remains a certain amount of sentimentality which.we cannot escape. We are going to miss those things which we have possessed and enjoyed in this briel period ol time. We leave to everyone a portion ol our enthusiasm, friend- ship, and school spirit and talce with us only enough of these qualities to lceep Technical in our minds as a pleasant memory. We must also leave behind the faculty whom we have come to ltnow as friends, hoping that we have not proved to be more exhausting in our ways than those who have gone before us. For the last time as the class ol January, 1936, we have played, dined, and danced together, joylul to have reached our goal, yet regretlul to leave behind the happy days spent here. You may thinlc that you have seen the last ol us, but you will see us occasionally at your games, at your dances, in the halls-seniors, graduated, who have returned to restore these memories. So it really isnit Good bye to Technical but only USO long, because 4'You'll be seeing us. Class President. lNCE the year 1835, the American Clipper has stood for some- thing magnificent and inspiring, lts strength and stirring beauty have become the basis of her modern namesalce, the China Clipper and her sister ships. We ol the Senior Memories wish to preserve the glory of a century and hope to perpetuate the memory of the day in which we live by taking as a theme for our magazine the evolution of the American Clipper and the blending ol two factors-power and sturdiness. . Art worlc in the bool: was done by members of the Magazine Art Club, with Miss Gladys Elam supervising. Raymond Duhfield as art editor headed a group of students, including Edythe Van Geem, Teruo Nagai, Gary Alford, Kazuo Kawamoto, Donald Karns, Virginia Green- berg and Roger Romine. The supervision of the boolc as a whole was the work of Miss Jessie Smith. The entire staff wishes to extend its thanlcs and gratitude to the Barboni Studio forthe patient and reliable help that made this magazine possible. 9? ,A , K, x, M- Q D-LV f E55 , -niiifa ,, iff 7'w:1: .wg.:,w..
