3 a Y A S 4 1.-. E IOR CLASS HlS'l'0RY We started our freshmen year in O.H.S. in the usual way, with the experiences of initiation, which we found we enjoyed instead of dreading. The sophomores gave a party in our honor, which we returned with a Sadie Hawkins' party in their honor. Initiation of the freshmen started our sophomore year. We followed with a western party given in honor of the freshmeng they in return gave us a skating party. We gave an assembly consisting of several short skits and musical numbers. Our class chose Suzella Pryor as carnival princess and the student body chose Nita McKinney. of our class, who became Carnival Queen. Our big year was our junior year, when we gave the banquet and prom. Since our funds weren't what they should have been, we had to promote many sales to re- plenish them. Some of our sales were pop, hot dog, cupcake, cake, chili, candy, pie, and a cake auctiong we also sold concessions at ball games. The theme for the banquet and prom was Make Believe. King Dale Roberson and Queen Robeana Bailey were crowned in the Make Believe garden. In our junior year our class certainly had the royal touch as Delores Cole was chosen as carnival princessg Nita McKinney, May princessg and Russell Brownson, May king. The senior class has been quite active this year. We put on an assembly of short skits, held cake sales, went on a sneak day, and gave two parties - one a Halloween masquerade and the other a semi-formal Valentine's dance. Our class officers for this year are as follows: if u c , x.-54, xy. , 4 if President. . . . . . . Suzella Pryor Treasurer .... .... S usan Stearns , Secretary .... . . . Carroll Powell xi?
