The gym was decorated as in English times with a Christmas tree reach- ing to the ceiling. Members of the choir dressed for the occasion along with others who helped make the dinner a success. The first was Our American Cousin, the play President Lincoln was en- joying at the time he was shot. The Barretts of Wimpole Street, which was the second play, concerned the conflict between the stern father, Edward Moulton-Barrett and vigor- ous Robert Browning over the near- ly invalid Elizabeth. Dr. Margaret E. Harper is the director of the College Theatre. The Ahaha Psi Omega sponsored One Act Play Night featuring the plays: The Danes of Our Lives, Why I Am a Bachelor, and The Reformation of Jimmy Valentine. The weekend was full of activities for the college family. The S.G.A. Basketball team challenged the Faculty '34ll Stars and came out with a victory. There was free skating, a pizza party, and a chili supper. Saturday was packed with activities. There was a parade filled with floats built by the students. Miss OCC, Diane Hea vener, was crowned, and a record social was held at the Princeton VFW with WGBF providing the music. Sunday brought out competition at the OCC 'Almost Anything Goes. A special chapel service was held Sunday evening. The final activity was a student body Talent Show. Kim Benefiel walked away with the big prize. Be- ing the caring, hard working teacher he is, one would be amazed he is Dean of Students. Worrying about students remain- ing in college, and about the col- lege remaining in one piece takes a great deal of time and effort.
