CLASS HISTORY When glancing back over the years, I found that sixtyfthree freshman entered high school in the fall '40. The class sponsors were Miss Robb and Mr. Kilpatrick. The outstanding event of the sophomore class was the ordering of our class sweaters and jackets. As sophomores the class elected as president, Marion Dysertg vicefpresident, Louise McCaf- feryg secretaryftreasurer, Rosalie Cole. In the fall of '42 only fiftyffour juniors returned. The class sponsors were Miss Robb and Mr. Rumble. Y As juniors the class elected Marion Dysert, presidentg Dottye Wilder, vicefpresidentg Harry Goerlitz, secretary-treasurer. Some of the highflights of the year were the Junior Class Play, Dotty and Daffy, and the order' ing of our class rings and pins. The class sponsored the interfclass tourney and the Junior and Senior Banquet. In the fall of '43 only thirtyfnine seniors returned. The highflight of this year was the Senior Class Play, Little Women. The sponsors were Miss Robb and Mr. Rumble. The Seniors elected Marion Dysert, president, Robert Mardis, vicefpresidentg Georgia Sumners, secretaryftreasurer. The event the seniors looked forward to most was the JuniorfSenior Banquet, at which they were the honor' ed guests.
