Senior Class Prophecy Since General Brauer and Colonel Conklin were scheduled to meet with President Rymer on a matter of national security, I, Cindy Nast, was sent to Washington, D.C. by the New York Times to cover the event. On the plane I was seated, to my surprise, next to )im Green who was on his way to get a patent for his new invention. He told me that Mike Woltman and Todd Bacon had gone into business together manufacturing computerized children’s games. While we were talking the flight attendant, Sandy Riese, informed us that Captain Julie Williams was preparing for take off and we should fasten our seatbelts. Jim went on to tell me that Laura Krause had become the anchor woman for KBJJ, a T.V. station in California owned and operated by Dan Ryan, who also produced the award winning movie, LOVE ■ Loyalty. The movie was written by Steve Wendt and featured Annette Nelson and David Andrews (originally David Andrysczk) in the leading roles. He said Debra Jaeger had designed all the clothes for the movie and was presently working on a collection for the French model, Kim Conger. I told him I had run into Darilyn Conger, manager of Bobby and Bubba’s Beff Bonanza, in New York. The restaurant is owned by Tim Holz and Bob Heinz and is famous for the elite guests who fly in from all over for the creations of Kim Lutze, head chef. Big names such as Randy Martin, farm tycoon, Jason Schmidt, famous stock broker of Wall Street, Governor Hilbert of Florida, and stunt woman Tina Strook have been known to dine there. The plane landed and Jim and I said our good-byes. I hailed a taxi to my hotel which happened to be run by Kelly and Roxanne (Ott) Schmitz. I tipped the cabbi heavily because it was Pam Wachendorf. When I got to my room I was amazed that an original painting of Cindy Mulder’s was part of the decore. I had to make a call to find out if the tip I got was true so I called the operator, who was Sara Sieger. I got information that Private Investigator, Cheryl Volbright was working closely with the District Attorney of Los Angeles, Mark Berger, on the case of the Smith robbery. I found out that while Mike Smith was attending the Krissy Ny (Kris Nyhuis) rock concert Pam Hopp and her accomplice Harold Mathieu got away with $1, 000,000 in diamonds from his jewelry store. After completing the phone call I sat down and turned on the T.V. to complete my notes and listen to the news. The lead story on the news captured my attention because it was about Pete Bovee, Kansas City Fire Chief. He has been given a special award of honor for saving the life of the nun. Sister Sherry Lotter. After the news I watched the Tonight Show hosted by Jeff Langkau. Comedian Joel Schneiter and flutist Terri Stibbe were two of the guests featured. The next day at breakfast I ran into Greg Waggener the all-star wrestler. He told me that pool shark, Bev Winberg was also in town on tour. He asked me if I heard anything about Paul Sukowatey and Kris Spears. I told him that I had heard they were on a Safari in Africa collecting animals for the FDL Zoo which was originated by veterinarian Crystal Stibb and zoologist Tiffany Green. After breakfast I went to Badura Fitness Center to work out. I saw Becky there and she told me that Cheryl Suprenand had become head quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, which is managed by Tim Trepanier and owned by Lyn Van Egtem. As the days went on I began feeling homesick from hearing about my old classmates so I took the next flight home. Driving to Oakfield I was stopped for speeding by Sargeant Sarah Gilles. She let me off with a warning and told me that Dawn Pauliot was just elected Mayor of Oakfield. She also gave me the invitation of our class reunion, which she was in charge of organizing. She said Dawn Sing was flying back from her mission in South Africa for it and that it would be held at Ruggero Clereci’s dude ranch in Colorado. I was glad that I would soon be seeing my old friends together again. “Cindy wake up you’re going to be late for school.” Mom said. It turns out that I had fallen asleep with my yearbook and that everything you have just read was one of my crazy dreams. This dream may seem bizarre and unlikely, but most dreams do. Most of the class of 1986 will probably not end up as this prophecy has predicted, but I know they will make their lives a success by pursuing their dreams and making them come true. Remember, if you can dream it you can be it. Class Motto—Life for today. Dream for tomorrow. Learn from yesterday. PROPHECY 29
