In Memory of a Friend Those who knew Doreen as a close friend, classmate, or acquaintance, knew her as a person with a zest for life that showed through in everything she did, even when she just said “Hi!” Her vibrant personality was a loss to the yearbook staff meetings. We will all miss Doreen, and even though the hurt felt because of the sudden tragedy that took her will probably never leave us, we can console ourseives with our fond and happy memories of her and the advice she left behind: “Life is short no matter how much time ya got to live, so live each day as your last... Then you will realize it really goes much too fast.” Doreen Donovan Sherry hotter: “She'll always hold a special place in my heart and many others. She was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Linda Eschenbauch: “I think that if Doreen could tell us one thing right now, it would be to keep smiling. Her attitude toward life reflected this, and she left us many happy memories.” Cindy Nast: “Doreen was one of my best friends. She was easy to talk to and always ready to iisten. She knew more about friendship and life than most people will ever know.” Lynne Dehn: “I remember Doreen as a lively girl who enjoyed writing poems.
