OUR JUNIOR PROM April 28, 1961, the gyro doors opened to Wonderland By-Night. Eloquently centered on the dance floor was an elaborate rock garden, from where we looked up to a huge towering rainbow, encompassing the stage. The mural, beautifully drawn by the class, graciously set on the end of the gym, depicted the fantasy scene, of a golden coach with its footmen, an outdoor ballroom, and an ancient medieval castle. A drawbridge projected out from our castle on which the crowning ceremonies took place. On the opposite side of the gym was The Blue Inn A quaint old inn, done in medieval style, from where delicious punch was served. The night sky of blue and white streamers pointed centrally to the traditional crystal ball, which reflected beautiful pastel colors over the gala crowd. Setting the delightful mood was the distinguished music of Les Palmer and his Orchestra. COURT of HONOR King Michael Blick Wayne Flury Robert Baehler Richard Bteffes Edward Berger Lyle Schrank James Moede Queen Jill McLean Betty Seyfert Judy Luebke Pamela Hartley Gail Sampson Bonnie Meesner Kathryn Reehl
