The Secret of The Old Adams House It was a beautlful nlght 1n July It was approxlmately elght thlrty The moon was now hlgh ln the Sk16S and sh1n1ng b11ghtly across the waters of Lake Oakfield I declded to take a walk along the lake to the old Adams house whlch was thought to be deserted It was a large house Wh1Ch was very dark and gloomy There wele large shutters wh1ch banged loudly aga1nst 1ts wooden f1 ame Trees were growlng up through the steps and on the once beaut1ful lawn I walked up and trled the door lt swung open As It d1d It made a lalge creakmg sound I stepped 1ns1de and looked alound On the wall was the plcture of a very beautl ful woman The room was wery clean On the left hand s1de was a lan ge oak table and three oak chaus On the table were three cups I walked oxer The cups were full of hot tea My eyes fell on a la1 ge doo1 I went ove1 It was heaxy I trled and t11ed to get It open I fumbled and struck a sw1tch The dool swung open I stepped 1DSld6 I saw anothel p1ctu1e of a beautlful woman Upon lnspectmg my surroundlngs mole carefully I saw ln the corner a lalge oak desk at whleh a person was s1tt1ng Stlange lookmg dlffelent from anyone I had eve1 seen He told me that he was from outel space He told me to follow hun to the cellal 1n Wh1Ch was a spaceshlp It looked l1ke a large saucer He asked me 1f I would tell the people of the world about hlm lf I were set free I told h1m I would have to He tled me up and went back to work I asl ed h1m what was golng on He Sald they were Just maklng tests of the earth s atmosphere That nlght I w1ggled free and went back to my cabln Isat on my bed for awhlle thlnklng how w1ll I tell the world?
