Nine of our members attended the State Convention at Perry, and our Songbirds won first place in the amateur division of group singing. At the Genesee County Fair, we won S70 in iudging contests. Our of 61 rope entries, we re- ceived 4i first place and 20 second place ribbons. Two of our members also attended the State Fair. Absent: Laverne Underhill. The Genesee County Achievement Day was held at O.A.C.S. this year. Among our other activities, we had a ioint roller skating party with the F.H.A., and also put on a P.T.A. program with the F.H.A. We sold cards, pop, and calendar ads to make money this year. Through this worthwhile organization, these boys are learning better and more productive farm- ing methods. Working in our new Ag. The stage craft club is composed of Senior High art and mechanical drawing students. They try to aid any' group that desires their serv- ices tor scenery, props, painting, and any other such assistance. The club assisted Mrs. Thompson and her grade school operetta, and helped the Seniors with their play, The Brain Storm . Their aim is to be helpful in the area in which their help is needed. Stage Craft Club -avr, Mr. P. Howarth, a student teacher who spent ten weeks at O.A.C.S., is shown here working with some members of the club.

Under the guidance ot Miss Dorothy Carpenter, they put on an excellent mother and daughter banquet, a fashion show tor the P.T.A., a sock-hop, and a bake sale so that the members could earn their pins. They also sold magazines and used the money to buy F.H.A. iackets. As Future Homemakers of America, they are the builders ot homes.
