ninglchlo Mr. Don Berg has been junior High Principal at Oakes for four years. He has also taught history in high school. Mr. Berg has coached the football team four years and this year is head football and basketball coach. Mr. Berg was born in Duluth, Minnesota, but moved to Oakes and attended twelve years at Oakes Public School, where he graduated . I-Ie received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Education at the N.I. at Ellendale. He was in the Navy for two years, spending these in the South Pacific . The Senior Class of 1959 dedicates the Acorn to Mr. Berg in appreciation for his unfailing interest in his students and in the school, his never-ending efforts for improve ment of the school, and his guidance and counsel of his athletic teams .
