This is done through informal meetings, speakers, films, and any per- tinent trips. school store The workers in the school store give a vital service to the students of Oakcrest High School. They provide paper goods, gym suits, jackets, and other school supplies for reasonable prices. The girls gain valuable experience in retailing, business practices, and salesmanship. The duties of these girls consist of arranging transportation for new stu- dents, plotting bus routes, and handling other problems of the transportation department. Among his tedious duties are looking up forgotten library numbers, helping a student find books, and solving innumerable other problems. Aides are chosen to assist with the l.B.M. program in the school system and to get a basic knowledge of the operations of the various machines used. Since most large corporations and educational institutions use computing and data processing machines, this field is rapidly gaining importance and any experience gained is a step up the ladder for those interested.
