Mrs. Sarah Ketron As head of the guidance department Mrs. Ketron divides her time between eight grade schools, two iunior highs, and our high school. From this you can see why almost any time you see her she is in a hurry. we 'inf M,-.. X . L, . Dr, H. P Vayhinger is our assistant principal. He helps both the school and students with various problems and activities. ln case of illness or absence of the principal, all responsibility falls on Dr. Vayhinger. Bowling, civic af- fairs and music claim a good part of his time, and he can be found, on special occasions, playing the organ in the auditorium. -wil' Miss Dorothy Latimer whose main iob is guiding the ine terests of students in the iunior highs, works with the sophomores helping them adjust to our routine here at Oak Ridge High School. Guidance 'lm' l'lr, Widespread activities keep Miss Margaret Barnes con- stantly on the go. Besides being guidance caiinwlor at Oak Ridge High School, a position that cteniancls nrost oi her time, she is also active as chairman of a Young Women Christian Association committee and sponsors tha Assembly Committee. Former students and senior girls ctpf preciate her for the personal help and attc-ntions that she is always giving. Mr. Wilson Lindsay starts us on the road to success by giving advice concerning colleges and vocational require- ments. He has a wife and faur children and his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and camping. His spi-cial inter- ests center around reading, sociology, bridge and race relations, He has traveled in the eastern and southern United States, the Carribean and South America.

Cushman The highest seat in the administra- tion is filled by Mr. Cushman, He ad- ministers and co-ordinates the program of the schools through the assistant superintendent and other supervisory personnel. Mr. Cushman is known at the high school as the man who shakes the hands of the graduating seniors, Administration Mr. T. H. Dunigan Keeping the school running smoothly can be attributed to our principal. Dr. Thomas Our assistant superintendent. Dr. Thomas, who once taught shop, now spends his time in the big "shop" help- ing run the Oak Ridge School System. For the past four years Dr. Thomas has served as our superintendents right hand. Mr. T. H. Dunigan Although school leadership and activities keep Mr. T. H. Dunigan, our principal, occupied nearly twelve full months of the year, he also has other interests such as family and "improvement of home and grounds." Another inter- est is working on the television set when the need arises. Mr. Fox Mr, Fox, the business director, assumes the responsibility for the general business management of the school sys- tem. Mr. Fox and his excellent stat? keep tabs on all accounts of the school system.

She con usually be found working industrially ot her desk in the librory office. She is always willing to lend o helping hand to any student in search of o book. her desk Q 434 , Mrs. Doris Reynolds, our busy registrar, is also occupied with transcripts, registrotion, personal ond closs files Her speciol interests ore her son Mickey who goes to Harvord and her new grandson. 8
