At school he teaches business education and is a sponsor ot the iunior class, and serves on the Auditing, the Honor Society, and the Budget Committees, lf his thoughts sometimes seem to wander, he may be thinking of hshing or plant culture, which are his hobbies. Mr. Walter Shipe teaches business education classes and is a sponsor ot the iunior class and F.B.L.A, In his spare time he enioys fishing, hunting, and gardening, His summer activities include working, traveling, and furthering his education. 3. Mrs. Horton's free time is taken up with such activities as playing bridge, read- ing, and swimming. She is a sponsor of the senior class, F.B.l.,A., and the National Honor Society Evaluation Committee, She has recently spent a pleasant vacation traveling up the East Coast. Some of her most enjoyable days were spent in Williamsburg, Jamestown, New York, Philadelphia, and New England. Besides teaching at O.R.H.S., Miss Waddell teaches night classes at U,T, She is active in the U.B.E.A. and F.B,L,A. and enjoys professional business education conventions. Last year she attended a convention in Dallas and this fall she went to Louisville. ln the summer she participates in water sports and works for T.V.A. The techniques of learning symbols for English sounds are explained in Miss Waddell's class. 28

T 81 I Club The T 81 l Club is composed of approximately thirty-one members and is one of the maior business clubs in the school. Activities often include meetings with other clubs from this region.
