Jack Horton, and faculty advisors, headed by Miss Eloise Dempsey. The Bulletin Board, upper right, and the Scrapbook Committee had the job of keeping us up-to-date on school affairs and keeping a record of the school's accomplish- ments, Chairmen were Susan Bowman and Karen Reynolds, Miss Anna Cebrat and Miss Ruth Frazier acted as advisers, Planning assemblies, right, and pre- senting them were among the duties of the Assembly Committee. Chairman Tommy Hardin and adviser Miss Margaret Barnes headed this group, The Ushers Committee, lower left, supervised seating in assemblies. Harry Conner was chairman, Mr Robert Roth acted as adviser.. The Public Relations Committee, lower right, among its other duties furthered courteous behavior in all phases of school activities under the leadership of Chairman Sammy Clinton and Adviser Miss Bernice Van Sickle. Overlooking class elections was also their job. Paid workers of the Concessions Com- mittee, upper right, had charge of sales dur- ing football and basketball season. Mrs. Nancy Thomas, adviser, and Robert Van- Fleet, chairman, secured and supervised all workers, The Lost and Found Committee, right, under the direction of l-lershell King, filed all found articles. Allocating all concessions funds was the job of the members of the Budget Com- mittee, lower left, chairman Robert Van- Fleet, four faculty advisers, and three com- mittee members co-ordinated the finances The Welcoming Committee, lower right, headed by Norma Ruble, initiated new students into school life by helping them get acquainted with students and teachers.
