On that date, Sister Saint Giselle, Director of the School, re- ceived a letter from the Board of Review of the Department of Diploma and Associate Degree Programs of the National League for Nursing advising her that our school had been granted full accreditation by that accrediting body. This accreditation means that our school and its educational program meet the criteria required by the National League for Nursing, and that it compares favorably with other fully accredited schools in the nation. Much of the credit for this achievement is accorded to the faculty, and particularly to Mrs. Josephine Nordahl, Educational Director. Accord is also given to the full cooperation of the hospital administration, nursing service, and the students. However, since education is a continuing process, accreditation is not an end in itself but rather a rung on the ladder.
