U A monumental task faces the Housekeeping Staff. Seated: Minnie Robinson is in charge of the residential areas of Misericordia Hall. Lorene Green keeps order in Saint Rosalie Hall. Standing: Elizabeth Leonard is coordinator of the group. Eugene jones deserves credit for the miles of spotless corridors and floors. Frances Pickett's daily routine produces spick and span offices and living rooms. xx ' xg A housemother is our mother away from home. She is a friendly lace and helping hand. She is the official hostess who announces that those special male visitors have arrived. She undergoes the trials and tribulations of caring for one hundred and fifteen daughters. ,J xi ml Mrs. Agnes llughes. Mrs. Marjorie Doherty She is a steadfast soldier enforcing curfew. Frustration is her only reward for trying to keep the din down to a college roar. Her speedy attempts at mail sorting are exhausted due to over- anxious freshmen. Z f ,fm . Her nights are characterized by sleeplessness and sedatives. But her perseverance is equalled by the admiration and appreciation ofthe students.
