Freshmen Lay A Strong Foundation The freshman class this year is the largest group ever entering Oak Park High School. They represent over one third of the total school population. For their first function they presented a dance, which was held on November 17, 1961, entided the Harvest Hop : It was enjoyed by all who attended and was a success both socially and financially. Though the freshman class is just beginning high school life, thej ' have excelled in school spirit, which is the most important factor in maintaining a success- ful class, and have laid a solid foundation for their coming high school years.
