Now they are over, yet, you have one souvenir that you can never lose, your memories. Remember the strange feeling of being the low man on the pole when you were a fresh- man? Do you remember thinking how you would never get through biology in your sopho- more year? Disecting a frog was really some- thing new. Exchange Student Marianne Spchl, this year ' s foreign exchange student Ironi Belgium, enjoys participating in Oak Park lite. She is staying with the Jacobson ' s and has become an imjjortant part ot their iamily. The reason lor Marianne ' s immediate adoption ot American ivays is due to the eight months experience ot being herself a hostess to an American exchange stu- dent in Belgium. One highlight ot her stay in America, was a trip to Calitornia during Christmas vacation to visit her other American sister. At the end ot the school session. Marianne along with other exchange students vill tour the Eastern section of the United States. ■When she returns to Belgium, Marianne plans to enter the University of Brussels to study medicine. Her stay here has been an enjoyable one for herself and for all the students at Oak Park High School, and we hope that she will come to visit with us once again.
